Goma Engineering – A Prominent Name of High-Pressure Homogenizer Manufacturer

[ad_1]

High-Pressure Homogenizer?

A High-Pressure Homogenizer is a modern gear utilized for the homogenization procedure of different kinds of materials that incorporate tissue, plant, nourishment, soil, and so on. The most widely recognized type of machine is mortar and pestle, which has been utilized for a long time. The cutting edge forms of this hardware depend on blender sort of instruments.

A high-pressure cylinder siphon, Homogenizer is utilized to break greater particles with size up to 1 micron into fine particles with the assistance of the homogenizing gadgets. Homogenization has been an old fashioned modern practice to deliver an alternate item in dairy and nourishment ventures.

The dairy & food industry utilizes Homogenizer for handling an alternate item with an alternate goal. For instance, in milk, cream, espresso cream, consolidated milk, a Homogenizer is utilized to forestall cream partition, improve season, increment brightening power increment consistency. In yogurt, it is utilized to make a progressively steady gel, in frozen yogurt to forestall fat division during freezing & in full cream milk powder for less partition of free fat.

How’s Homogeniser Works

In the homogenization procedure, breaking the fat molecule beneath 1 µ is finished by going through a restricted cut which is somewhat bigger than the measurement of globules. Speed in the tight cut is up to 250 m/s. As a result of thin cut and high speed, high shear pressure and micro turbulence are made, and thus, globules begin breaking.

Stages in Homogenization

Homogenization is a two-stage process. The first 1st stage includes breaking down the particles & the 2nd stage is to prevent clustering. The pressure used during the process of Homogenization depends on the product characteristics of fat content, viscosity, total solid etc. Usually, the dairy industry uses homogenization pressure up to 3000 PSI.

Before homogenization, milk must be heated to a minimum temperature of 70°C, to inactivate lipase enzyme, to check rancidity & to get maximum homogenization efficiency because of melted fat.

The homogenization process for fruit juices can be conducted at ambient temperature, due to the absence of fat globules. Similarly, that of vegetable fat/Palm oil can be taken just above the melting point.

Why a Heat Pump May Be the Best Way to Cool Your Home

[ad_1]

It is impossible to turn on the news or open up a paper or magazine these days without seeing something about global warming. Ironically, one of the causes for the rising temperature of the planet is the energy used by the very products and systems we so desperately need to deal with mercurial temperature extremes. One way to cope with both situations simultaneously is to look at installing a heat pump in one’s home rather than a standard gas or electric furnace.

There are many different types of heat pumps, the most common being an air-source. This works through heat transfer rather than creation. Instead of using power to generate heating or cooling, it essentially uses the process of conduction to exchange hot air for cold. The system works using two sets of copper coils, one on the interior of the home, one on the exterior, and a compressor. Heat will be extracted from the outside air and transferred inside to warm the dwelling. The directionality can be reversed in the summer to draw warm air from inside the house and direct it out.

An even more energy efficient form of heat pump is a geothermal (geo-exchange, ground source, or water-source) pump. Because earth and water are insulators in and of themselves, and therefore have a more consistent temperature than air, a pump sourced a few inches into the earth or water require less energy to produce the same temperature.

Both systems will result in higher energy efficiency and reduced costs over the long run, but do have added costs at the initial installation. The geothermal pump is by far the most efficient, but is also the most expensive and labor-intensive to install, though the end result will be worth the outlay. Another type of heat pump is dual-sourced, which combines the two and is somewhat less expensive, though with a concomitant reduction of energy savings.

When properly installed, heat pumps will reduce home heating and cooling costs, reduce heating repair bills, and will work as well as a central heating system in the right climate.

Climate is the caveat that needs to be observed when considering swapping out one’s existing heating system for this model. In areas with extremes of cold, pumps may not provide the desired indoor temperature. Ground-source pumps are better equipped for this area, as are absorption heat pumps that are backed up with a gas heater to provide extra warming when necessary.

This is not an exhaustive list. There are a variety of systems to suit a range of home configurations and desired services. The Department of Energy offers a website and publications to help the discerning homeowner make the best choice.

While such systems are an excellent alternative to standard, often outdated heating and cooling systems (or those in need of substantial repair), one needs to take into consideration their efficacy in any given area and climate. They are particular ideal for temperate areas like Atlanta, where the temperatures rarely dip into extreme cold. When installed by a reputable contractor, they can be an excellent way to move heat out of the house.

The Adventure of Cooking Food

[ad_1]

Think about what life would be like if it were not for the ability to cook food. Cooking food is something some of us take for granted.

There are some individuals, rare as they may be, that could burn water. But thankfully, for the most part, anyone can cook a meal. All you need is a recipe, some cooking utensils, a means of making the food and you are ready to begin.

If you find yourself at a loss as to what to cook then consider first what type of cuisine you are in the mood for. There are free recipes for cooking food anywhere you look. Soup cans, magazines and the internet boast a virtual smorgasbord of dining delights by offering up recipes.

Take a moment, think about what you are craving and then find a recipe. Make sure the ingredients can be purchased locally.

The second step in cooking food is reading through the recipe and making sure you have the correct cooking utensils. Yes, it is possible to improvise on some utensils but a fork does not take the place of a knife.

By reading through the recipe, you can see exactly what tools you will need for the job at hand. This is also the step where ingredients are checked off.

There is nothing worse than being in the middle of it and realize you have forgotten a key ingredient. As with utensils, some ingredients can be substituted but there are some that are fundamentally important and cannot be switched out.

Thanks to such handy equipment as the microwave or pressure cooker, the time to cook can be cut down considerably. Our society has not reached the point technologically where with a push of a button the food magically appears.

Yes, there are packaged foods such as the types soldiers use in the field, but the average citizen does not want to drink powdered milk or re-hydrated beef paste.

For now we have to use the means we have on hand so if a recipe says that it takes twenty minutes to cook, you cannot speed it along by doubling the heat.

The lesson here about cooking food is pretty simple. Know your recipe, make sure your ingredients are on hand and check to ensure that you have the proper cooking utensils. It is important to take your time and enjoy what you are making.

Cooking should be a chance to experience new foods and bring people closer together. There is an art to making food and a sense of accomplishment to be had from creating something yourself.

If you take the time to try it, you might find yourself trying new things in all aspects of your life. Making food is an adventure and one that brings its own sweet rewards.

Air Conditioning Blows Hot Or Warm on One Side – Free Car AC Help

[ad_1]

Car air conditioning systems that blow warm on one side and cold on the other side usually have one of two problems. In this short auto repair article, a master automotive technician shares his experience, derived from working on air conditioners in Florida for the last couple of decades. This free information can be equally helpful to the do-it-yourselfer as it is to a consumer that knows the value of being informed when it comes to dealing with car repair shops. Read on for free car A/C help when the air is blowing warm on ONE side.

Usually cars that blow cold on one side of the dash and warm on the other side, are typically equipped with a dual zone climate control system. Dual zone systems allow the driver and front passenger to adjust respective temperatures to their comfort levels. There are two common causes of a temperature difference when both sides are set at the coldest settings, lets cover the first one.

Low Refrigerant

Automotive air conditioners which use 134A, usually hold a small amount of refrigerant compared to older automobiles that use R12. Car and truck air conditioners today are much more efficient than their older counter parts. The fact that 134A systems use less freon, means that a leak can more quickly affect the performance of an HVAC (Heating Ventilation & Air Conditioning) system. Due to the design of dual AC systems, low refrigerant is the leading cause of drastic temperature difference from one side of the dash to the other. Even well experienced car mechanics may be surprised to learn that as little as 4 to 8 ounces undercharged of 134A can make such a huge difference. The temperature from the left vent to the right vent can vary 10 to 20 degrees. The easiest thing to try is to top off the system or better yet, remove all freon and recharge the unit with the factory specified amount. In most cases after the proper charge of Freon is in the car, the temp will blow equally as cold like it should on BOTH sides!

What if that didn’t help? Read on to learn of another possible cause of the problem.

HVAC Door Issue

Dual zones supplying different temperatures from vents on either side of the dash is achieved by the use of small doors within the HVAC housing. By controlling the doors, the temperature of the air on the left and right can be adjusted to the desired comfort level. Many times the motor (or actuator) that controls the door for either side can fail or the door itself can break and prevent the temp. from being adjusted. Diagnosing this problem is more complex and can be a subject for another article. Thanks for reading. Hopefully, the free information provided here will help to remedy the problem of “AC’s blowing hot or warm from one side of the dash.”

Learn How to Make Beeswax Candles Easily

[ad_1]

Beeswax candles are very popular for their natural characteristics. They burn clean and leave little or no oil. They don’t require any fragrance oils because their natural odor is very pleasant. Beeswax candles lend an oriental feel to the environment they are in.

There are two ways one can make beeswax candles. One way is by simply buying a sheet of wax and rolling it. This is the easier of the two ways and even children can do it. It takes little time and effort. The other is the traditional candle making way.

Readily available beeswax candle sheets in different colors and with different fragrances can be purchased. With the width of the sheet facing you, place the wick along the width and start rolling it tight. Once you have attained the required thickness of the candle, you can cut the sheet. Make sure that there is no trapped air between the layers of the candle by tight rolling and pressing down on it.

Learning how to make beeswax candles the traditional way requires some time and practice. But once you learn how to do it, you can make any candle from any material.

Here is how a beeswax candle is made:

First melt the wax in a double boiler. Beeswax has a high melting point, so you have to keep the heat source on till the temperature reaches 170 degree Fahrenheit.

When the wax is just about to melt, you can add color and fragrance. To start with, just add a little as beeswax itself has good color and odor. You will also learn how the wax absorbs the color when you start with small quantities and add more as you make more candles.

After the wax has melted, you can pour it into the molds. When pouring the wax, make sure that your wick is in place and in nicely teetered to the mold with a hook or clip. After molding the wax, allow it to cool for six hours and more. You can also place the mold in a freezer after it has cooled in the open for more than five hours. Rapid cooling can make the candle crack. So do not place it into the freezer before five hours of open cooling and for not longer than ten minutes. After it has cooled, your candle is ready for burning.

Public Speaking – Apply Adult Learning Principles For More Effective Training

[ad_1]

Did you know that adults have special needs as learners?

When we were kids, we went to school, and we sat through class every day, and our teachers taught everyone pretty much the same way. It didn’t really matter if you were a visual learner, an auditory learner, or a kinesthetic learner. The teacher pretty much did whatever s/he felt most comfortable doing. Times have changed, and teachers are more aware of learning styles now, and other issues that affect children’s learning.

But the principles of adult learning are still pretty new to most people. If you’re a speaker, and you’re doing any kind of education or training with the groups you’re speaking to, this applies to you.

First, a little history. Malcolm Knowles is considered the “father of adult learning”, although the topic had been discussed and researched over a century earlier.

Knowles’ assumptions were that adults:

1) move from dependency to self-directedness;

2) draw upon their reservoir of experience for learning;

3) are ready to learn when they assume new roles; and

4) want to solve problems and apply new knowledge immediately.

In his book, “The Modern Practice of Adult Education: From Pedagogy to Andragogy,” Knowles opposes the view that adults are unable to learn: “…the rapidly accelerating pace of change in our society has proved this doctrine to be no longer valued. Facts learned in youth have become insufficient and in many instances actually untrue; and skills learned in youth have become outmoded by new technologies.”

The term “andragogy” has come to mean self-directed learning for people of all ages, as opposed to the term “pedagogy” which defines teacher-directed learning. In practical terms, it means that when educating or training adults, process comes before content.

Knowles may not have invented these terms or concepts, but he was the first to put them together into an organized theory. Additional theories of adult learning have been developed since Knowles’ time, as well. Here is an overview of adult learning principles that will greatly improve your understanding of how and why adults learn. This will allow you to tailor your presentations and training more effectively to the groups you serve.

1. Adults are autonomous and self-directed

Adults want to decide for themselves what, when, how and why to learn. Speakers/instructors should allow adults to direct some of their own learning. Here are some ways to facilitate this:

* Ask your participants what they already know about your topic and what they’re interested in learning. Find out what their goals are for being there.

* Share your agenda and ask for input. This might lead to switching around the order of your workshop to better serve the group’s needs. You might find you spend more time on certain subjects than you had planned, and less on others. Be flexible.

* Act as a facilitator, guiding the group and encouraging them to reach their own conclusions, rather than force-feeding information in a lecture format. Allow them to be responsible for their own learning.

* Do your research on the group and organizational needs beforehand, so you can provide a combination of information that meets their perceived needs and their actual needs.

2. Adults have a lifetime of knowledge and experience that informs their learning

Adult learners can be a valuable resource for you as an instructor/speaker. It’s also important for them to connect learning to those previous life experiences. Here’s how to make the most of your audience’s experience and knowledge.

* Don’t assume that your participants are “blank slates” and know nothing about your topic. Nothing is more insulting than a speaker who launches into a lecture without first finding out the needs and knowledge level of the audience. Do your research and ask first to find out what they already know.

* When appropriate, ask your audience to share their experiences, and create activities that call on them to use their experiences, for example, in small group discussions.

* Prepare activities that involve choice, so the learning process can better fit the individual levels of your participants.

3. Adults need relevancy in learning

It’s important to adults that they are learning something relevant and applicable to real life, whether it’s work-related or personal. Here’s how to make learning relevant to your audience.

* Identify learning objectives and ask participants to share their goals.

* Discuss and ask for sharing of real-world applications of your topic.

* Avoid giving a workshop or presentation that’s too theoretical.

In the book “Teacher”, Sylvia Ashton-Warner discusses relevancy in her work as a teacher with Maori children. She recalls trying to teach them to read out of European textbooks with images and language that mean nothing to them. When she starts working within their own language, culture and experiences to teach them reading, they blossom. Relevancy is one of the major keys to learning for people of all ages.

4. Adults are motivated to learn by both external and internal factors

When we were kids, many of us were not motivated to learn by anything other than our parents’ and teachers’ rewards and punishments.

As adults, we have many reasons for pursuing learning:

* it’s a requirement of a job

* we want to make new friends and connections

* for professional development and to advance our careers

* to relieve boredom

* because we’re interested in a particular topic and want to learn for fun

* to create a better environment for our children and families

. . . and the list goes on.

As an instructor/speaker, it’s important to understand the many reasons why your attendees are in your seminar. They may not be there by choice, for example. Ask them why they’ve come and what they hope to gain from the experience.

As it is important to understand what motivates your participants to learn, it’s also important to understand what might be barriers to their learning:

* worry about finances

* time constraints

* childcare issues

* relationship issues (one partner feels threatened by advancement of the other)

* lack of confidence in ability to learn (some people grew to believe they were not good in school, and they carry that with them forever)

* insecurity about intelligence

* concern about practicality and relevance

. . . and the list goes on!

Understanding the motivations and barriers your participants face can help you as an instructor pinpoint how best to serve them, by increasing their motivation for learning.

5. Adult learners have sensitive egos

Many of us, over the course of a lifetime, have developed a fear of appearing stupid or incompetent. As children, we were encouraged to explore, ask questions and learn about the world, but somewhere along the way, that was taken away from us. Many adults have mixed feelings about teachers, school, and structured learning.

Some people go to great lengths to hide their inability to read, for example, or their lack of understanding of the duties of their job.

An instructor/speaker must be aware of these issues and build trust by treating learners respectfully, sensitively, and without judgment.

* Allow participants to build confidence by practicing what is learned in small groups before facing the large group

* Use positive reinforcement to encourage participants

* If sensitive issues are to be discussed, create a safe space by enforcing confidentiality and allowing participants to “pass” if there’s something they’re not comfortable talking about

* Provide activities that are low-risk before moving on to activities featuring higher risk or greater trust

* Acknowledge participants’ previous life experience and knowledge and allow them to voice opinions and share in class leadership

A speaker who believes she/he knows more than anyone else in the room is asking for trouble, and creating an environment that will discourage learning.

6. Adults are practical and problem-oriented, and want to apply what they’ve learned

Probably the most important result for adult learners is to be able to apply their learning to their work or personal life – immediately. Help facilitate this by doing the following:

* Use examples to help them see the connection between classroom theories and practical application

* Use problem-solving activities as part of learning

* Create action items or task lists together with participants

* Help learners transfer learning to daily practice by offering follow-up coaching or mentoring

* Create an experiential learning environment that follows an experiential learning cycle

This has been just a brief overview of adult learning principles. I hope you’ve found some of the tips in these articles to be helpful.

At its most basic level, adult learning tends to be self-directed and based on the person’s individual needs and life experiences. Follow these tips when working with adults, and you will be on your way to creating a truly effective learning experience.

25002 Installation Error Fix – How To Resolve Error 25002 Errors On Your PC

[ad_1]

The 25002 error is a typical problem that rears its head when you attempt to install / uninstall Norton or Alcohol on your computer. This error mostly occurs when your PC does not have the adequate permissions, or drivers to carry out the operations you are asking of it.

This error is mainly driven by the way in which Windows cannot process files and settings needed to run the system properly. The usual format of this error will show itself as:

  • “Error 25002: Failed to load navinst.dll.”

The causes of this problem can be attributed to the way in which your computer cannot read the files or settings required for the installation/un-installation to take place. Typical examples of this problem will be when your user account does not have the correct permissions to run the file, or when you are experiencing file corruption issues with the “registry” of your system.

How To Fix The 25002 Error

Fixing the 25002 error is simple. The first step is to ensure you have the correct permissions on your system. Most software can only be installed and uninstalled by the user account that has the required rights to do so, e.g. the administrator. If you’re not logged in as the administrative user, log out and then log in again with the correct user account that has permission to install in your system.

The next step is to check if your Navinst95.dll or Navinstnt.dll file is damaged or corrupted in any way. If so, you have to repair any of the problems which are causing the errors by clicking “Start” and then selecting “Search”. After this you have to locate Navins95.dll and Navinst.dll and rename them both as “navinst.dll”. The third step is to fix any corrupted and unreliable settings inside your computer that are stored within the “registry” data house. These stored settings can establish how your computer is capable of installing a program correctly onto the hard drive. These registry errors can be resolved by clicking “Start” and then selecting “Run”. When a box shows up, type “regedit” and then press OK.
