The Advantages of Training and Development in the Workplace

[ad_1]

The following article explains everything you need to know about training and development in the workplace.

In the current economic climate we find ourselves in, many businesses will be looking carefully at their HR budget. With businesses needing to tighten their belts, one of the areas which may be considered dispensable is training and development. This article demonstrates that while many organisations may be asking the question, can we afford to spend on training and development, a more pertinent question would be, can we afford NOT to spend on training and development?

As we know, the workplace is a dynamic, fluid environment. On-the-job training and development needs may change with each new order, purchase or sale. Therefore, it is vital that your organisation is both pro-active and reactive to changing circumstances with in-house training and development.

Training and development in the workplace provides real time exposure to any changes, as opposed to off-site classroom or homework training. It also allows your company to have direct company oversight of the training and development methods used and immediate input into content.

In house training offers the ability to pinpoint employee developmental needs with satisfaction of those needs then interwoven into current processes and workflow. When a new issue or aspect of work is identified, training and development provides immediate development of the staff skills needed to master this procedure.  In addition, training and development in the workplace gives instructional staff opportunity for immediate correction of employee errors, immediate review, and additional training as identified.

Conversely, the immediacy of training and development is the ability to change training methods or facts shown to be incorrect, and to change them before adverse work occurs. Consider employee reactions. Some workers may respond positively to change, while others, often fearing the unknown are resistant. Training and development in the workplace means familiar territory for employees and also familiar surroundings for instructors.

When training and development result in better outcomes, employees tend to display a greater sense of ownership and pride in their work.  This can help lead to increased productivity and efficiency, and of course, an increase in job satisfaction.  Staff who are happy in their work are more likely to work harder and be more valuable to the company, which will in turn, put the company in a stronger position.

Why not see how an in house training could improve the productivity of your staff today?

Using Clay Pebbles In The Bottom Of Pots

[ad_1]

Clay pebbles can be a very economic alternative for those with home gardens. While they may not be recommended for use in large pots due to their subpar nutrient-lifting properties, they can be quite effective when used in small pots and containers. Also, unlike other fillers clay pebbles can also be rinsed and re-washed indefinitely, usually pH neutral, and their round shape allows for ample ventilation throughout the pot, aerating the roots and preventing them from rotting.

Ideally, clay pebbles should be used with net pots, especially for flood and drain hydroponic systems as the pebbles allow for the free flow of water through the plant roots and allow the nutrients to circulate better. However, a number of gardeners also make use of clay pebbles together with soil-less pot plant blends. However although it may seem like a straightforward option to place permeable substances such as clay-based pebbles in the base of the pot to ensure that water drains away more effectively. Nevertheless although it appears as if it’s a “no-brainer” choice, doesn’t necessarily work like that due to the characteristics of the pot plant blends themselves.

Regardless of whether they are put inside growing pots or in the earth, a very important factor soils and planting blends share is the fact that once the consistency or characteristics of the soil suddenly changes (for example from potting mix to expanded clay) it results in a circumstance referred to as a perched water table. This typically takes place in the bottom of your container or pot, however, if there’s clay there you’ll be essentially setting up an artificial bottom level. Typically the soil which sits on the top of the clay pebbles will stay soaked to a certain level on top of the layer of clay pebbles following watering in the same manner as it might if it had been the base of the pot.

As soon as you irrigate a pot containing clay pebbles and potting mixture, you need to completely saturate the potting soil before the excessive water may circulate to the potting soil and in to the pebbles themselves. And when you do this, the nutrient solution has filled in all of the pores within the soil or pot plant mix which was at one time filled up with air. So dependent upon the kind of soil or blend you utilize, the saturated region may take up a substantial section of the soil/mix. Therefore, the real impact of incorporating clay pebbles will be to decrease the quantity of the growing medium which you boost the percentage of saturated to unsaturated potting mix or soil.

In any sort of pot plant media, the perched water-table is going to have a depth which is very similar for that medium. For example a saturated layer in the bottom which is 1 inch deep inside a high thin container is only going to take up a small part of the entire soil mass. However, if you placed exactly the same quantity of the same type of medium inside a broad, shallow pot measuring only a couple of inches deep, it is going to take up fifty percent of the medium.

Needless to say, there are lots of technical particulars which impact the overall performance of liquid inside containers, but over-all the only real reason to put a really shallow level of pebbles at the base of the container will be to stop the potting soil or mix from washing right out of the water drainage holes any time you irrigate (and also this has stopped being even necessary in some instances).

Car Transport Services – An Almost Invisible Industry

[ad_1]

Car transport services ship hundreds of thousands of cars daily, yet this business to business service goes largely unheeded to the public. The car transport industry provides routine, fully insured, licensed, and bonded services and without it our car showrooms would be empty.

Their shipping times vary according to the auto mover’s schedule. For most national car deliveries it takes from one to three weeks and standard sailing times extend that delivery period for those on the main US islands, for example, Hawaii.

For the new car sales business and public alike (if they give it any real thought to it) shipping a new car or your family or classic vehicle car adds no mileage on its odometer, so they will see savings in reduced depreciation or unused lease mileage.

Most cars are shipped on open car carrier trucks, but especially expensive or delicate cars can travel in closed, climate controlled trucks for maximum protection.

Contracting for auto transport services begins with the price estimate, or quote. Do take care at this stage to read the small print it could in a tiny proportion of cases become very important later!

Upon pick-up, the driver will do a condition report (bill of landing) for any scratches or damages on the vehicle which should be signed by both parties. The same will occur upon delivery; make sure you check vehicle before signing.

Vehicle transport just is what many shipping businesses will do for you. Choose companies with direct access to a large group of independent carriers. The largest are pretty comprehensive in their geographical range and will cover moves to and from 48 states. Vehicle shipper should be selected after considering mode of payment, Paper Works, Insurance, pick-up and drop, price and duration of delivery.

Vehicles are checked upon collection and where appropriate, a damage/shortages report is completed. When the vehicles are delivered, paperwork is signed to confirm safe receipt. Vehicle transport provides affordability as well as the comfort of knowing that your car, truck, van or whatever you drive will get to its final destination safely, on time and in one piece. For more information about auto transport, feel free to contact National Transport .

Customers are not normally allowed to pack their cars with clothes, small appliances or even spare parts. The fuel tank cannot be completely full, and owners are usually required to be present when the vehicle is picked up or delivered to complete the inspection. If customers fail to show up on time, try to change pick-up or drop off locations at the last minute etc., they will increasingly be charged for these services. Some patience is required, even the best companies do have other customers and will not always be able yo answer to you with a zero time delay, and do remember that most companies want to get your vehicle shipped to you as soon as you do.

Car shipping is available for all auto mobile makes and models, and just about every specialist niche vehicle at a price. However, you are well advised to choose car shipping for your vehicle from a professionally licensed company.

Enclosed car transport trucks are available for a slightly higher price from many auto shippers. Enclosed trailers offer much more protection and provide the peace of mind you need when it comes to your unique and irreplaceable vehicle. Enclosed trailers suggest much more safety and give the coolness you require when it comes to your exclusive and unique vehicle for transport shipping by transporters or shippers.

Enclosed auto transportation also means secure. Secure enclosed auto transportation means no-one can breach our security measures and gain access to your prized possession.

All companies in the industry broker vehicles to carriers.

National Transport is a well known trader providing this service to the public and other businesses, and possibly has the answers to all of your shipping needs. An advantage reported of National Transport is that they have a roll-on, roll-off policy meaning that their truck will pick up your cars at any desired location and they will drop them off at the doorstep to your new home without blinking an eye.

National Auto Transport is highly valued for Hawaii car transport services, and, while serving each of the fifty United States, says it always takes pride in the scheduled arrival of all their auto transport services.

Processed Foods Targeted As a Geographic Tongue Cause

[ad_1]

A healthy diet is paramount to any healthy lifestyle, but for those who are trying to modify their diet to target a specific geographic tongue cause should be aware of the impact of processed food on geographic tongue. There are a number of foods that cause the affected areas of the tongue to become sore or irritated once symptoms appear, but recent studies have shown that overly-processed food, especially those that have a high sugar content, might also be a cause of it as well. While there is no guarantee that avoiding processed foods will keep geographic tongue from developing, as there are many other factors involved (gender, race, age), knowing which foods that negatively affect the tongue will significantly reduce the risk.

Processed foods, such as pre-packaged meals, bagged flour, and a great many snack foods like potato chips, (especially flavored chips,) canned nuts, and ready-to-eat foods like lunch meat and hot dogs, contain many preservatives and additives that have been marked as a geographic tongue cause. This is because if individuals who are already prone to the oral syndrome consume a lot of processed food, the extra chemicals that are put into them during the processing stage can begin to irritate the tongue over time. When geographic tongue occurs, the surface of the tongue loses areas of its papillae, leaving them smooth and reddish in color. The additives may contribute to this process by wearing away the tiny nubs that contain taste buds. The more processed a food is, the harder it is on both the tongue and the taste buds.

While it may be difficult to avoid this geographic tongue cause, as processed foods are such a huge part of daily life, especially in America, it is possible. People who want to try and avoid this harmless yet chronic condition can make some easy changes, such as replacing white bread with whole grain brands, choosing fresh fruits and vegetables instead of buying the canned variety, and avoiding overly-processed meats. Roasted chicken and lean beef are better choices. Bagged snacks, especially those that are labeled as hot or spicy, should be cut from the diet altogether. Plan meals more carefully so that ready-made meals have to be used less often, as the more processed a food is, the more unnatural chemicals and preservatives it contains. There is no one food choice that will keep geographic tongue from appearing, but processed foods are most certainly a culprit when symptoms begin to appear.

Archetypes

[ad_1]

DEPTH PSYCHOLOGY (ARCHETYPES): – “All material bodies are condensations of frozen bodies.” (2) Jung is becoming ‘in vogue’ again, I hear. Perhaps this time around it won’t just involve so little real appreciation for all that he meant and understood. Dream interpretation and projected Western values can be a Freudian gambit – Jung grew to see things few will ever admit to in the present ideologies of the West. He was able to contact the future before the First World War and it almost convinced him he was mad, until he saw his visions were right – then he knew it wasn’t himself who was mad – it was the world he lived in! His archetypes may be a contact with the genetic ‘history book’ that the Director of the Human Genome Project talked about recently when he announced that only 2.8 centimetres of 1.8 metres of a gene are required to make the human being. It might be a collective ‘tap-in’ or even the ‘medulla oblongata’ has the ability to record the knowledge of previous evolutionary experience of man’s development. Personally I feel it is a matter of some of each of these things and the factors relating to chaos and the interference of conflicting vibrations or wavelengths in the confusing array of bandwidths and personalities.

The ‘archetypes’ and our dreams are definitely important to our discovery of what the soul and oversoul is trying to achieve. Our conscious waking experiences are far too influenced by convention and peer pressures or the five senses, to differentiate the ego’s interest from the purpose we are here to explore and refine. Is there a connection between the archetypes and the helical structure of all the naturally occurring paradigms like time, harmonic building blocks of one dimensional force, nanotubes, DNA and telomeres, etc.? Is that structure part of a form which is unique to the earth experience or does it have close corollaries in other parts of the universe? We are on the verge of breaking down the insights of intuitive attuned masters of the philosophies that are aware of the ego and its NEEDS. Soon the Eastern mystics and shamans of the world will be universally appreciated, I hope. Their ethic is a clear requirement to explore if we are to begin the ‘New Age’ in a position to make the most of all that can be! It might be required by other life forms we call alien before we are allowed to participate in the cosmos and its order. That would be great!

“When I go past the dark alleys and passages of my mind, I come to the core of my Being. – At the core of my Being I am in touch with the light and the love and the knowingness that are inherent properties of my natural state.” (3)

One of the outcomes and plans involved in the rape and pillage of aboriginals and nature-worshipping cultures around the world was a history that injected war into the lives of the Mayans. Personally I have a hard time accepting that the ‘missionaries’ of the Keltic/Toltec or Druidic tradition that are reported in the stories about Kukulcan and Quetzacoatl were responsible. However, they were probably accompanied by those members of their society (or followed by) who brought the mindset of European power-mongers and aristocrats. I can see where the Ostrogoths disappeared to and it wouldn’t surprise me if the Sybarite/Milesian faction had ousted other ‘Bruttii’ before the 6th century BC., who found their way to the Upper Mississippi area of the Great Lakes before moving south to the more extensive mounds they built.

There is mounting evidence that the Basque played an important part in the Mayan scheme of things. Their language is connected as is the Rh factor in the blood. It is rare and traceable to Iberia, (the one between the Black and Caspian Sea) and the Mayan. They also seem to have lived in harmony until the Norman or other conquests were occurring in Europe. Needless to say the conventional wisdom is trying to paint them as sacrificers of barbaric proportions, but that too can be traced to Moshe (as in Moshe Rabbenue) and European influence and practice. There is no doubt in my mind that the nature and archetypes of the Mayan culture make it clear there was a long tradition of harmony and awareness of the ego and its conflict that adds so much negative inputs to our shared experience with nature. I like the words of the following author who has lived in the lifestyle or with these people even more than I have.

“Even though the Mayan temples became overgrown with jungle lushness, the Mayan beliefs have survived. Because of their togetherness all these years and their deliberate lack of contact with the Spanish, the Mayans have managed to practice their beliefs and practice them today almost as they did thousands of years ago.” (4)

The Mayans say we should be careful and observe our involvement with nature and the progressions of different forces. They say: “Do not put yourself, in front of your SELF!” Most people are unable to quiet their mind and keep order in their memory and recall, due to a lack of proper tools (like Ars Memoria, in the ‘Symbols and Concepts section’) and the spiral of educational inputs that have no flow and fit. If we have a through-line of purpose and ethic these problems of the busy-mind disappear and a greater sense of mental and other well-being permeates our lives. The Mayan are naturally this way and if Western Man succeeds in abusing them with greed and need then it will be a greater loss in my heart than I wish to bear.

The inner quest

The tradition of vision, and the inner quest by the shaman, the Druid, the saint or the holy man, seem to be connected at specific places where the energy forces of the planet are located {In the microcosm of our mind or the macrocosm of the universe, too.}. The Celtic and pre-Celtic shaman, the living embodiment of the collective psyche, was the link with the ancestral spirit world. He performed the ceremonies connected with the dead, and the annual rites of renewal on behalf of the living. The age-old communal tomb which was the source of his power {Like relics of the Catholic Church. The lattices of the DNA archetypes and stone enclosures were designed to house the forces of personal and tribal attunements.} was the place where the forces of heaven and earth could meet. The vulva-shaped megalithic dolmens from Cornwall and India show how widespread was the ancient belief in the burial receptacle as a womb-place of the Earth Mother and the Other-world. These tombs were usually constructed with giant stone slabs forming a chamber and a trenched passageway, the gaps filled with dry-stone walling and covered by a great mound of earth. Dolmens, quoits and cromlechs are the remains of the original chambers. Natural caves and artificial chambers cut into the rock were also used.

The block of sandstone, 28 ft. (8.6 m) long, which is called the Dwarfie Strane, is an example, unique in Britain, of a rock-cut chamber. It may have been used for meditation or initiation; for ‘at each end is a bed and pillow of stone capable of holding two persons, with a hole above to admit light and allow smoke to escape’. {We believe the king’s chamber in the Pyramid has a resting place rather than a sarcophagus. There were no mummies or bodies therein, and there was no top to this bed. The ‘debunkers’ of ancient knowledge say there was a grave robbing enterprise. These were not robbed and their uncovering through tunneling is well recorded. The grave robber priests of the second millennia and later BC are a fact but they went were the material treasures were housed and did not get into the Giza Pyramids. They are also part of a time when the ethic and culture of the supposed Stone Age or earlier ‘primitives’ were no longer in charge. After the Trojan Worldwide War things became worse in leaps and bounds. There was a 400 year ‘Dark Ages’ as the Keltic/Phoenician ‘Red-Heads’ such as those being burned at the graves of their long ago leader Osiris; decided New Zealand and the Americas were better places to live and love life.} The early Christian saints of Ireland and Scotland {Like Columba and Pelagius, who still endeavoured to retain old ‘Brotherhood’ ideals [Iesa=Jesus] from before Rome when deviate behavior swept this opportunistic church.}continued the tradition of using rock cavities for meditation and prayer. They chose mountains, islands and desolate places not only to avoid distraction but also to be closer to the Sacred. The church near Bilbao, actually built round a group of natural standing stones, and dedicated to St. Michael, the dragon-slayer beloved of the Celts, is a remarkable example of the Christianization of a sacred place.” (5)

We will go further along the path of science that is proving the existence of templates and archetypes in all of nature as we cover Dr. Robins’ work and Lamarckian evolution etc. Yes, the universe might have an over-riding purpose and potential that insists on growth and creativity. If we don’t allow each member of our human family to be able, through enabling support, we might not only be diminished; we might have a re-start of universal proportions as Martin Rees is saying about the whole of our universe. He is a recognized expert in the field for whatever that is worth, but what he says is in line with the cycles of Hindu astrology to be sure.

Here is a simple exchange of knowledge from a forum on the World Wide Web. It includes Iesa in a gospel that reflects back to the things which ancients learned and gradually got imbedded or imbued into our genes and archetypes. But that knowledge of the ‘oneness’ or what Jung calls the ‘collective unconscious’ has another side or oppositional element. There are those who would use our ‘oneness’ against the good of ‘the collective’.

“Hymnal prayer from the Gospel of the Egyptians

IE IEUS EO OU EO OUA

Truly, Truly! IESSEU MAZAREU IESSEDEKEU,

the living water!

The child of the child!

O glorious name!

Truly, Truly! The one existing eternally!

III EEEE EEEE OO OO UUUU OOOO AAAA

Truly, Truly! EI AAAA OO OO

O one who exists, who sees the aeons!

Truly, Truly! AEE EEE IIII UUUUUU OOOOOOOO

The one who exists for ever and ever!

Truly, Truly! IEA AIO, in the mind, who exists!

UAEI EISAEI EIOEI EIOSEI

This, your great name, is upon me, o faultless,

self-born one, who is not outside of me.

I see you, O one invisible before everyone.

For who will be able grasp you in another language?

Now that I have known you, I have merged myself

with the one who does not change. I have armed

myself with luminous armor and have been luminous.

For the mother was there on account of the lovely

beauty of grace. Therefore I have reached out my

folded hands.

I have been formed by the ring of the wealth of

light which is in my breast, which gives form

to the multitude born in the light, where no

accusation reaches. I shall sing your glory truly,

for I have grasped you. SOU IES IDE AEIO AEIE OSIS O!

Eternal, eternal god of silence, I honour you completely.

You are my place of rest, O son, ES ES O E,

the formless one who exists in the formless ones.

He exists, he raises the one by whom you shall purify

me into your life according to your indestructable name.

Therefore the fragrance of life is in me. I have blended

it with water, from the pattern of all the rulers,

so that I shall live with you in the peace of the saints,

you who exist forever.

My response:

Thank you for the Hymnal Prayer of the Egyptians. It has much of the meaning of Iesa (Iesous in the fish symbol [IXOYE] stolen by Christians) and even Zeus comes from this concept of the Brotherhood of Man. That ‘one mind’ or collective that is known to the ancients and which Jesus (Iesa through linguistics) may have allowed himself to be known.”

The Keltic program of ‘Brotherhood’ required sending children to far away places for their upbringing as we have mentioned. In the matter of psychology it served to ensure disciplined people with few ‘spoiled brats’. Much of our insanity comes from a confusion created in the minds of undisciplined people. Habits and ego or choices to behave as idiots seem more likely causes of aberrant behavior than most psychologists want to allow. After all if discipline and meditation were all we needed then a lot of people would see what is going on: and education would have to become enabling for individuals rather than for our bureaucratic propaganda and psycho-civilizing purposes.

Benefits of Online Company Registration

[ad_1]

April 2010 witnessed 30,353 company registrations in England and Wales and 1,793 in Scotland. The simple, straightforward laws, the political stability and the varied opportunities offered by the UK makes the country a company formation hub. Companies House, the authority that validates all company registration applications, offers online as well as offline company registration facilities. If you are looking forward to opening your company within a single day, online registration is the best option.

Company Registration: Why Prefer the Electronic Procedure?

Online company registration is quick and cost-effective. This, perhaps, is the most important reason why people prefer the online option. Online registration facilitates:

Speedy company formation: The Internet personifies speed! All the procedures can be fulfilled online without moving a step away from home. To register a company in the UK, you will have to fill the Memorandum and Articles of Association, Form 10 and 12. If done online, Form 10 can be skipped.

Also, it is crucial to ensure that the company name does not resemble any other companies. You can check this in the online ‘WebCHeck’ search service.

Less expense: The registration fee via post is 20 and the ‘same-day’ service charges are 50. On the other hand, software filing can be completed at just 15 and same-day service at 30.

Company Registration: Look for Agents Online

The entire procedure can be completed easily with the help of online agents. The Internet helps you save the time and effort that would have otherwise been spent on searching for agents personally and submitting the right papers. A reputed online consulting agency will handhold clients through the registration process. This makes completing the procedures and submitting the documents very easy.

An online agency may even offer packages, such as:

  • Bronze pack: At 17.99, this package offers an electronic certificate of incorporation and copy of the Memorandum and Articles of Association.

  • Silver pack: This pack includes a printed certificate of incorporation and an electronic copy of the Memorandum and Articles. Additionally, it offers a registered office at a prestigious address in London. This is available at 53.99.

  • Gold pack: At 93.99, this package comprises all the facilities of the previous two packs as well as a Maintenance of Statutory Books.

All these three packages are available at CompanyFormations247.co.uk. This is one of the oldest and best agencies in the UK, known for its customer services and reasonable prices.

All About 12th Edition of Cricket World Cup

[ad_1]

As you may have read in my earlier article, Cricket is being played in three formats – Tests, One-Day and T20s. In order to decide the champion of the game, the world cup is being played, in the One-Day format. I’ve covered a few vital information about its upcoming world cup, which begins at the end of this month.

General

2019 cricket world cup, starting from 30th May 2019, is the 12th edition of the men’s cricket world cup. The showpiece event is the most coveted award in the sport, going to be played between 10 teams. The world cup is always played in the One-Day format. The event is being held in the ODI format. England & Wales will play the host, for the 5th time overall, and the first time since 1999.

Qualification

As a qualification criterion, eight teams automatically qualified based on their international One Day rankings. The last two spots were fought by six teams in the qualifier played in 2018. That was an intensely fought contest in Zimbabwe. Six teams were divided into two groups, where each team played two matches in the group. Top two teams from each group played the semi-finals, and winners of semi-finals played the final.

Teams

India, Australia, England, New Zealand, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, and Sri Lanka were the teams automatically qualified based on the rankings. West Indies and Afghanistan were the ones to enter through the qualification route. Looking at its rich cricketing history, West Indie being forced to enter through qualification was a tough pill to swallow for many cricket lovers.

Based on the recent form and match winning record, hosts England and India are labeled as favorites to win the competition.
