Should You Buy the Dyson DC17 Vacuum Cleaner?

[ad_1]

The Dyson DC17 Animal vacuum cleaner has many positive consumer comments and ratings. It is one of the most highly consumer-rated Dyson vacuums on the market today. It is a bit heavy and considered somewhat ugly by some but it excels in most other areas.

The DC17 uses Dyson’s Level 3 Root Cyclone technology to remove dirt from the air stream. This approach adds an extra cyclonic stage between the outer and inner cyclones and is able to remove particles as small as 0.5 microns in diameter from the air. Most vacuum cleaner reviews verify this system as being a powerful advancement in vacuum cleaner technology. The Dyson DC17 has a 12 amp motor, a 0.63 gallon canister capacity, 220 air watts of suction, and includes a HEPA filtration system which prevents small particulate matter from being circulated back into the room. With a 35 foot cord and a 17 foot extendable hose, there are few places in the average household this vacuum cleaner cannot access.

The DC17 easily tucks away in a closet and like most uprights it does not take up much closet space. Unlike several other Dyson uprights this vacuum does not use the ball approach to locomotion and it is a fixed wheel machine. The cleaning head also has a low profile making cleaning under furniture less of a chore. The DC17 features a wand and hose system for cleaning shelves and stairs, plus a special attachment for vacuuming up pet hair.

Not Great Looking

When looking through customer reviews for this model, from Home Depot, Target, Viewpoints, and others, negative comments primarily address the vacuum’s “ugliness” and several reviewers comment on the “ghastly” color of the Dyson DC17. However most consumers appear to be very pleased with the performance of their “beast”, “purple monster”, “juggernaut”, or whatever they choose to call it.

On the Heavy Side

If you are in the market for a super light vacuum the Dyson DC17 may not be a suitable choice if 21 pounds seems a bit much to carry up and down the stairs. A number of consumers consider this on the heavy side while some feel the weight is not much of an issue. Vacuum reviews in general cite few other features of this model that appear to warrant complaints.

Price Range

The price of the Dyson DC17 Animal falls in the range of about $400 to $550, with the best deals often found in the big box discount stores. If one is on the lookout for a sale or a retailer’s coupon, the DC17 can often become even more affordable. Dyson products are generally considered to be rather pricey but given the suction power and ease of use of the DC17, the price does not seem to be out of line.

If the Dyson DC17 Animal vacuum is within your price range and you don’t think its look and color will scare the children, this may be one of the better choices for an upright vacuum.

Homemade Solar Energy – Step Into The Green

[ad_1]

If you want to take full advantage of homemade solar energy, it’s a rather easy task to turn the sun’s energy into a benefit for your household. The plastic black hoses that twist in the day’s heat will warm the water inside to a temperature that’s right for a shower or warm pool.

The Many DIY Solar Energy Options (At Your Disposal)

Grilling – Line a box with aluminum foil, as it will create an effective but slow grill/broiler for a barbecue as well. Not a huge technological skill but surprise your neighbors with this homemade solar energy option.

Heated Water – Another way to use homemade solar energy is just as simple as making a barbecue grill. What you’ll need to do is have homemade solar panels constructed from a radiator set (make sure that it is painted black) and then set in a box facing directly toward the sun at a 30 degrees angle.

Be sure you have copper tubs attached to the back end of the radiator so that water can trickle through them. With the assistance of a small pump, the water (once warmed) can be dumped into the well-insulated storage tank for you to use inside your home. With the water in the tank, you can still take hot showers, use hot water for dishes or any other purposes you need hot water for even if the sun has been low for a couple of days.

Evacuated Tube Collection System – A third effective homemade solar energy form is to use an evacuated tube collection system, which is very easy for do-it-yourselfers. When you look at this, you’ll notice it resembles the flat plate collector. However, it’s got a vacuum tube with a heat conductor that can efficiently trap the energy of the sun, regardless of how much it is. Water that’s moved in this system is similar to what you see in the heat exchange system. Keep in mind that this system is a bit more costly than other methods but it does store the energy and release it more effectively.

Photovoltaic Cells – If you want the best of homemade solar energy, you’ll find it in the form of photovoltaic cells. Why is it considered the best to generate electrical power? It is a very eco-friendly method to power your devices.

Possible Home Modifications: How Big Of A System Do You Need

If you’ve got a small bit of technical experience, your simple system will give you a substantial amount of energy for the majority of the year. However, if you purchase bigger cells and link them together, your needs are likely to be met without any issues whatsoever.

The look of your home as well as its structure will need little modification to it to accommodate your homemade solar energy system.

Although the roof is the most obvious place to put your homemade solar panels, there’s no need to strengthen it. The two things you need to keep in mind, however, when putting your panels up there is: that’s to have a clear area with lots of sun and no tree branches overhanging.

Many people are proud to show off their homemade solar panels and have gone so far as to incorporate them in sculptures in the garden; evidence that they have a real desire to be eco-friendly to the environment.

What Was Previously Seen With Homemade Solar Energy Systems

There is a stark difference between the solar energy systems of the yester-years and the ones seen in today’s market. Whether it’s a homemade solar energy or a purchased kit set, these systems are no longer costly but rather convenient options to saving money on utility bills.

The systems were, at one time, quite undependable and would only work when the sunlight was at a strong strength. They were pretty useless in the winter. However, today’s homemade solar energy systems are available practically all year long and costs approximately 50 percent less.

Think back to what solar was used to do thousands of years ago: dry meat and grains to use when they were out of season. No doubt, solar energy has come a long way in the form of homemade solar energy.

Biomechanics of Martial Arts

[ad_1]

When explaining the biomechanics of movement it’s important to understand how the body functions as a unit with multiple systems within the body working together to execute movement. This is called the kinetic chain and it has three primary systems:

  1. Nervous System
  2. Muscular System
  3. Skeletal System

By inhibiting the nervous system, the kinetic chain is broken and requires more effort to execute a movement. One way of inhibiting the nervous system is by closing your eyes. Sounds simple but makes the movement extremely challenging. I’ll give you a quick example, lift up your foot and execute a 3 count front kick. No close your eyes and try it again. What happened? You noticed that kick became much more difficult, didn’t it? You can use this same application and completely change your training methods. In addition, the kata’s were designed in perfect pattern to where you should end the form exactly where you started. Close your eyes throughout the entire kata and see if you can finish in the same spot. There are three planes of motion that the body can move in:

  1. Frontal Plane
  2. Sagittal Plane
  3. Transverse Plane

Let’s look at the three basic technical kicks and how they fit into these planes of motion to increase the difficulty level. The front kick is executed in the sagittal plane – The most basic kick and easiest to execute. Most movements occur in the sagittal plane, which makes the front kick the easiest to learn. The second kick is the round kick which is executed in the frontal plan. Since this technical kick occurs on the left or right side of the body, it would occur in the frontal plane. Finally, the most difficult of the basic kicks is the sidekick. There is rotation that has to occur within the hip joint to chamber the sidekick, which occurs in the transverse plane.

So how does one train in all planes of motion? In Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do a student must be able to properly execute what we call a 9 count kick. The nine count kick includes the front kick, round kick, sidekick, and hook kick. All the basic kicks must be executed without putting the foot down. Front/Round/Side/Hook Kick.

When training the body there are multiple training variables that can be manipulated to progress or regress a movement. Once a student reaches black belt, it’s important to understand that, yes, there is a more challenging curriculum from 1st to 2nd degree, but it’s also about perfecting the basics. How does one challenge the body? Here a few different training variables that can be used:

  1. Range of Motion
  2. Speed
  3. Frequency
  4. Duration
  5. Stability
  6. Planes of Motion

This article is going to focus on increasing difficulty by understanding the stability principal. The easiest way to explain the stability principal is by using what we call a base of support. When you stand up, both feet are touching the ground which gives you a wide base of support. As soon as a student lifts a leg off the ground they’ve shortened their base which makes it harder to balance. Thus, by decreasing your stability you can make a basic movement more challenging. So how can someone decrease stability while standing on one leg? This is where training tools would come into the picture. Let’s use a dyna-disk for example. Below is a picture of a dyna disk. The dyna-disc allows for movement in all planes of motion in addition to being on an unstable surface. Try doing a front kick on the dyna-disc. What happens? The front kick now becomes extremely difficult.

Reducing Energy Costs In The Office

[ad_1]

Reducing energy costs in the office is something that may seem challenging, but if done as a team, can actually be a lot of fun. The trick to it is to make sure that there are incentives for energy saved and that there is a way that the energy saved can also be accurately calculated. This type of initiative is something that you can implement among departments and entire office buildings.

There are several ways in which you can save money in big ways as an office. Yes, it does require some change, but ultimately everyone will be happier for it. One of the biggest ways in which you can reduce energy costs in the office is to upgrade your office equipment. This might seem like a very costly thing to do at first, but you should be aware that it will pay itself back many times over during the course of the years to come. Old office equipment is responsible for a lot of environmental destruction and harm. Think of photocopiers that cannot print paper on both sides, or old computers that use a lot of electricity when they are switched on. The minute that you get rid of those types of equipment, you will already have a much more eco-friendly office.

Some other ways in which to reduce energy

  • Lights. The neon lights do not have to be on all the time, especially if the office is lit with a lot of natural light. You could have some sort of an incentive completion that whichever department functions without their lights on for the longest time gets some type of reward. You should also make sure that you do not leave the lights on at night when everyone is gone, since this uses up so much precious energy unnecessarily.
  • Motion detection. Install motion detection lights in the office that only remain on as long as there is motion in the vicinity. This way, you will also be able to save a lot of energy.
  • If you have an office urn, make sure that it is proportionate to the number of people in the office and that you only boil it when absolutely necessary. Boiling kettles and urns takes up a lot more electricity than people realise.
  • Spread the awareness. The one thing that you can always do in the office to reduce energy is to raise awareness. Leave signs telling people not to leave the taps running, to turn off the light, to not misuse the heating and you should get somewhere in terms of saving electricity.

If, however, you are ready to make a full upgrade, you might want to consider getting some LED lights to replace the normal ones, as they burn for longer and do not need that much electricity in order to work.

The Phantom Growth of China’s Ghost Cities

[ad_1]

Bloomberg has a new video series out called “China’s Ghost Cities.”

The reporter, Adam Johnson, describes how the Chinese government is building massive cities that no one lives in yet. The expectation is that China is going to “grow” into these cities.

A remarkable idea, really. The authoritarian planners in Beijing or wherever decide it would be good if, say, a million people or more could relocate to a pre-planned area.

Then they build out the infrastructure — or rather the entire metropolis, skyscrapers, stoplights and all — and wait.

Stop for a moment and ponder how nutty this is. The last time your editor checked, central planning was not a huge success. According to history, bureaucrats wielding directives over long distances tend to allocate resources poorly.

But are ghost cities a recipe for a bust? Some say no. The Bloomberg reporter, for instance, assures us that China’s economics are different — that is to say, “it’s different this time.” (Where have we heard that before…)

It is supposedly OK that these ghost cities, built for millions of inhabitants, have only tens of thousands of people living in them — because all that deserted square footage will eventually be put to good use.

As a bonus, building ghost cities is great for economic growth.

Via running superhighways out to the middle of nowhere, erecting steel and glass towers in the boondocks, China generates new jobs in construction, civil engineering, city planning and the like. All this construction looks fabulous on paper. The ghostly infrastructure gets counted as productive output, and the super-aggressive GDP target is maintained.

But what is wrong with that picture?

For one, there is the central planning problem. Growth and development are free market forces, with signature markings of trial and error. Successful cities are built from the ground up, not decreed by bureaucrat stamp. So how does the government know where a new metropolis should go, or what its optimal size should be?

Then you have the accounting problems. Should the promise of tomorrow be so readily reflected on balance sheets today?

Imagine if a public corporation said, “We are going to grow 20% per year by building idle factories in the middle of nowhere, that no one is going to use for quite some time. Don’t worry though, the demand for these factories will show up. We’ll make a profit on them eventually. Just don’t ask when.”

Such a plan would be brutalized by the market, because public companies are held accountable for profits and return on investment (ROI). (At least most of the time — in bubble times investors will happily suspend their rational faculties.)

The Chinese government, of course, does not have to seek profit in its actions. Or it can measure results in some entirely non-traditional way, via “how many jobs did we create” or “how do the GDP numbers look.”

At the end of the day, the “ghost city” mandate is directly channeling John Maynard Keynes, who once suggested digging holes, then filling them up again as a way to put men to work.

China is being more sophisticated. Rather than digging holes, it is putting up buildings. The effect is the same though. “Some day” the empty skyscrapers will have value — if they are not condemned as worn-out structures first — but until then they are just holes.

China bulls are not bothered by the ghost cities for at least three reasons.

First, they have convinced themselves (with more than a bit of faith) that the empty metropoli will one day (sooner rather than later) be full.

Second, they figure China has a lot of money to burn even if the ghost cities don’t work out.

And third, as the old saying goes, “a rolling loan gathers no loss.” As long as the speculative music is playing, the property developers can keep dancing.

The trouble, as always, comes when the music stops. If China turns out to have built, say, 20 years of excess capacity by the time that happens, then hundreds of billions’ worth of stagnant projects will have to be written off.

Tougher still is the idea that China’s “economic miracle” is actually a heavily leveraged bet on mercantilism… propped up by runaway construction… with the tail end of the boom pulled recklessly from pie-in-the-sky projections for future growth.

That is another favorite tactic of investment manias: Along with the embrace of forever skyward growth curves, mortgaging tomorrow (and borrowing against it) for the sake of today.

Even if China can write checks to cover the write-off costs of all those cities, there is a big multiple built in to the global economy right now on the assumption that China growth is the real deal. When it sinks in that much of that growth is actually “ghost” or “phantom” growth — in keeping with these empty monuments to nowhere — the collapse of that multiple could hurt.

Homemade Baby Food – Healthy From the Start!

[ad_1]

Preparing baby foods at home helps to integrate preparation of your infant’s meals into preparation of meals for the rest of the family. By making baby foods yourself, you will be in control of the quality of nutrients that your child eats, and also you will be able to provide her diet with a greater variety of healthy foods that taste much better than any jar baby food available at your local supermarket. While having a tremendous sense of satisfaction from having impact on your baby’s health, you will also save money!

Essentials you need:

– stainless steel saucepan and steamer (avoid copper as it robs food from vitamin C)

– food processor or blender

– veggie/fruit peeler

– paring knife

– colander (for rinsing and draining)

– fine mesh strainer

– ice cube trays or muffin tins

– pen, labels or masking tape

– small freezer bags

– instant-read meat thermometer

Fruits & Vegetables

With the exception of bananas and avocado, all fruits and vegetables have to be cooked. Cooking tenderizes them and kills bacteria that may be present on their surfaces. While cooking in water is the easiest way to prepare fruits and vegetables, it’s not the healthiest, as it depletes many nutrients. To preserve all or most vitamins and minerals, steam your fruits and vegetables instead. Other healthy ways to prepare your foods are roasting and baking. You may roast or bake apples, winter squash, broccoli, cauliflower, and sweet potatoes. Dry heat will preserve all their nutrients and bring out their natural flavor.

Meat & Poultry

Roasting or baking meat or poultry are healthier methods than frying, broiling, or grilling. Frying leaves the food too greasy and fatty, while broiling and grilling can cause formation of carcinogens, the cancer-triggering substances. Always check if your meat is done with the meat thermometer.

You do not need to add salt to your baby’s food. Also, refrain from adding spices in the baby’s first year of life, as her delicate digestive system may not ready to handle them.

Freezing

Spoon your cooked and cooled baby food into clean ice cube tray (~ 2 tbs of food), or muffin tin for older infants. Leave room to allow for fluid expansion during freezing. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and place in the freezer. When frozen, transfer baby food cubes into small freezer bags. Label them with the name of food and the date of preparation. You may store the frozen cubes up t 1-2 months.

Thawing

Defrost the desired amount of baby food in the fridge overnight. You may microwave it for ~30 seconds per cube if you need the food right away. However, check the food’s temperature before you serve it to your infant to prevent burns! Discard leftovers. Also any baby food left at room temperature for an hour or more needs to be discarded.

Sample recipes:

BANANA

1 small ripe banana

breast milk or formula

Break banana into pieces. Blend with a blender or food processor. Add breast milk or formula to thin it out.

CARROTS

½ lbs peeled and washed carrots

breast milk or formula

Steam carrots until tender (~10 minutes). Cool for ~ 10 minutes. Blend. Add breast milk or formula to thin it out.

MEAT/POULTRY

2 oz cooked and chopped chicken, turkey, beef, or pork

breast milk or formula

Blend the meat. Remove chunks. Add breast milk or formula to thin it out.

High Temperature Molten Splash Protection for Electric Arc Furnace Power Cables

[ad_1]

The Problem

When a water cooled power cable is used in severe environments such as powering an EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) in a steel mill there is an enormous potential for heat, flames, ash or molten splash to severely damage the electrical cables (or series of cables) thus crippling the melting operation. This translates into unscheduled maintenance and lost production time. In some instances these costs have been estimated as high as $100,000 / hr depending on the size of the operation and production schedules.

The water-cooled furnace power cables provide a flexible source of power to permit movement of the electrode arms up and down and to allow swinging the electrode arms and roof back and forth when charging the furnace. The power cables consist of copper wire strands forming a round spiral construction which are attached to copper terminals at either end of the cable. A low temperature rubber jacket around the outside of the cable allows cooling water to flow through the cable assembly. The rubber hose is attached at either end of the cable using stainless steel clamps, vulcanized bumpers or an anti-chaffing type hose.

The danger is that molten metal splash caused by “wet charges”, or flame impingement, extreme heat, etc. will damage an unprotected power cable. This can cause a chain reaction of catastrophic events including loss in water cooling resulting in overheating or shorting of the electrical power cables and halting the melting process.

Given the large diameter of the rubber hoses surrounding the power cables and proximity to the EAF, there is a significant landing area for sparks, molten metal splash, etc. In many applications the cables are left completely unprotected and exposed to severe high temperature environments. In some cases the rubber cooling water hose is wrapped with inexpensive fiberglass tape or sleeve that offer minimal protection against possible hazards.

The Solution

With a minimal capital investment, Worbo Inc.’s severe duty protective molten splash away sleeve may be installed to wrap around new or existing water cooled power cables to resist heat, flame, ash and large intermittent exposure to molten metal splash. Worbo Inc’s development of a highly flexible, molten splash resistant, easily installed and completely non-conductive sleeving solution is a perfect fit for this application.

The Technology

Manufactured and designed with 100% Non-Conductive materials specifically for safe non-arcing use in close proximity to AC or DC EAF’s.

The hydrophobic, low surface energy, non-stick “Splash Away” properties of the thick silicone coating sheds large random but potentially hazardous amounts of 3000˚F molten metal splash to help maintain the integrity of the water cooled power cable until the next scheduled maintenance period.

Equipped with a hook and loop self gripping closure, EAF Cable Molten Splash away sleeve is easily field installed (or removed for maintenance) without cable disconnection.

High Shear and Peel Hook and loop self gripping closure is designed specifically for this application to ensure closure doesn’t separate during severe “jumping”, “bouncing” and “bumping” of cables during furnace arc and “cold starts”.

Combination of Heavy duty “Splash Away” silicone shield coating on thick high temperature fiberglass substrate helps insulate and defend against intermittent bouts of molten metal splash, flame impingement, burning airborne particles and high temperatures.

The Economic Benefits

Depending on the application the cost to procure and install a high temperature jacketing system could be as low as $30/ft. Relative to the enormous costs associated with unscheduled maintenance and lost production time this represent an insignificant capital investment that could pay for itself several times over through the prevention of a single unscheduled maintenance event.

The Conclusion

Protecting electric arc furnace power cables exposed to sever high temperature environments with a high temperature jacketing system will significantly reduce unscheduled maintenance and lost production time.

Genesis Air PCO Air Purifiers Review and Numbers Analysis

[ad_1]

Genesis Air is a company based out of Lubbock, Texas. They offer air purification solutions for commercial applications but they also carry a few stand-alone units. Although we were unable to analyze all their systems, we were able to gather valuable data on their stand-alone systems. This information is revealing. Genesis Air systems rely primarily on photo catalytic oxidation (PCO) technology. These systems combine MERV filtration with PCO.

The Genesis Air 2008 RGS and the 2006 D&L cost between 99.6 cents and $1.21 per square foot of air cleaned per year. They cover between 750 and 3000 square feet. They cost between $3360.30 and $9077.67 to use over 10 years. They have an MSRP between $1400 and $5400.

These air cleaner systems are priced much higher than competitors in the marketplace. The particle efficiency on the MERV filters in these systems is only about 75% down to.3 microns in size. The company only backs these systems with a one year warranty.

These air purifier models seem to be very uncompetitive with similar models from other companies in the industry. The cost-benefit value of these systems is very poor. They are priced like high-end air purifiers but without offering the many benefits typically associated with top-tier systems. Some of these benefits one would expect to see in a system like this: the leading PCO technology in the industry, one of the highest particle efficiency removal rates in the industry, and one of the best warranties in the industry.

The bottom line is there are many options out there that are superior in all three benefit areas listed that also cost much less. So not only do competitor’s products perform equally well and in many cases better, they also cost much less.

One of the benefits of these systems is that they have the ability to be mounted. Although they are stand-alone systems, the MERV filtration in the system indicates that they are originally designed for being mounted close to the ventilation systems. These could be great systems for combining with a ventilation system to address odor, gas, and particle pollution. At the end of the day, the costs involved just do not seem to justify the use of these systems.

Quick Cheap and Healthy Dog Food Recipes

[ad_1]

If you feed your dogs manufactured dog food do you really know what you are feeding them? I recently came across a class action lawsuit that been filed against various pet food manufacturers, having read the details and done further research I decided that I couldn’t safely feed my dogs any manufactured food so I needed to research some healthy homemade dog food recipes. The priorities when looking for good recipes was to ensure that the food would be healthy, it would be quick to prepare and it would be cheap.

My first stop was my local butcher who I use every week. I explained to him that I was going to make my own dog food and asked him what he could supply that was cheap. He now happily provides me with a large bag of off cuts and meat that would soon be out of date every Saturday evening. I you don’t have a local butcher speak to the local supermarket and see what they can provide you with. You’ll often find that they drastically reduce prices on meat that will soon go out of date.

After sourcing the meat I then managed to source a supple of cheap vegetables from the local farmers market. Many farmers use to throw away misshaped or bruised vegetables at the end of the market, not anymore! The final ingredient I sourced was large catering packs of brown rice. The rice is very nutritious and helps to bind the food together.

Now that I have assembled all the ingredients it’s time to prepare the food. A really quick and simple recipe is to take 2 cups of cooked rice, 1 cup of meat which can be raw or cooked and a cup of grated vegetables, carrots and cabbage are good but try to avoid onions. Mix all these together with a small bit of lard or vegetable oil and feed to your dogs. I can guarantee that after only a few weeks on a menu like this your dogs will be fitter and healthier than before.

There are a few things you need to be aware of before you start to change your dog’s diet. Firstly their digestive systems aren’t as advanced as human ones so you’ll need to change their food gradually over a few days. Start by adding a small amount of your homemade dog food to your dog’s meal mixing it with the normal food. Over a period of three to four days gradually increase the amount of homemade food and reduce the manufactured food. Always ensure that you keep plenty of fresh water available for your dog to drink with his meals. Small dogs need only to be fed once a day while larger dogs should be fed twice.

By choosing simple homemade dog food recipes it is possible to extend your dog’s life span significantly and to save money. Why not try it for a month and see the improvement in your best friend.

The Hidden Pain of Love

[ad_1]

In the blinking of an eye, there are no suspicions.

In the secret mental structures, there is no clue.

In the remotest imagination, no trace of her exists.

In the darkest night, there is naturally no thought.

Without warning, a disease with no prescription has attacked me.

Without any traceable leads, I am a victim of the unknown pain.

Without any help, the pain continues burning inside my bones.

Without telling anyone, I hope to control it and be myself once again.

If I was young, this is a problem for mum and dad to rectify.

If I had a way, I could have wished for something else instead of this strange pain.

But, reality has refused to heed my calls for help!

Reality has found me guilty of love and sentenced me to some silent tears.

Even when I wake up in the night, the pain strikes like a freezing chill on a broken tooth.

Sometimes I wonder how I managed to fall for this cute product of creation.

Sometimes I really wish this pain could just be tamed.

Is this the pain of love that some elders warned me about?

Is this the time I have found someone to cause pain in my heart with pleasure?

Is this the right time to let my cute model know how I feel?

Seasons will come and go, but the pain of love will still show the same reality.

Season will blossom into fatal reality should she respond with a cold shoulder.

Seasons will slow down their pace if she decides to mock my shy nature.

Seasons won’t be enough to make her understand how much I care.

Season will judge her cute self should she ignore my true feelings.

Mum, I wish you could guess what I am going through without interrogating me.

Dad, I wish you could be a shoulder to cry on without waiting for my call for help.

Uncle, I wish I could just open up and describe this fire I am keeping inside.

Aunty, I wish I could remind you how right you were about being confused when you are in love.

Grandpa, I wish you could see from afar, how hard I am trying to contain this new feeling.

The love of my life is knocking on my innocent door.

But I am not sure whether accepting her is the right thing.

My confused head keeps spinning and hurting my soul.

But she has no idea how hard I am struggling to handle this pain.

It is time to let her know how I feel and free myself from this bondage.

It is time I became honest with my feelings.

I am in love!
